Getting started

Quickstart

Go from zero to your first SMS. This guide walks through account creation, provisioning and your first API call.

Before you begin

  1. 1Create a developer account
  2. 2Verify your Banglalink number with OTP
  3. 3Provision your app to receive your applicationId and API key
  4. 4Send your first request

1. Collect your credentials

Once your application is approved, its applicationId appears on the platform and the matching API key is emailed to your registered address. Both travel in the body of every request, so keep them on your server.

2. Send your first SMS

Destination numbers use the tel: prefix. Setting deliveryStatusRequest to 1 asks the platform to report delivery back to you.

curl -X POST https://api.applink.com.bd/sms/send \
  -H "Content-Type: application/json;charset=utf-8" \
  -d '{
    "version": "1.0",
    "applicationId": "APP_999999",
    "password": "your-api-key",
    "message": "Hello from AppLink",
    "destinationAddresses": ["tel:+8801959979376"],
    "deliveryStatusRequest": "1"
  }'

3. Check the response

A successful call returns statusCode S1000 along with a requestId and one entry per destination address. Errors are reported the same way, so always read statusCode rather than the HTTP status.

  "destinationResponses": [

    }
